ScoreVision Forms Partnership with Campus Tech AV to Bring Cutting-Edge Technology to Canada
When the board chair of St. John Paul II Academy, Troy Van Vliet, began searching for a temporary scoreboard solution, he had never heard of ScoreVision. A quick internet search brought him many results, but none of which he was expecting would aid the school in evolving its gymnasium into a contemporary facility. Today, St. John Paul II uses ScoreVision, not as a temporary scoreboard but as a permanent one, with hopes to break ground on a new facility in the spring of 2023, where the system will then be located.

Even more compelling is how the foundation board chair saw an opportunity to break into new territory with what he thought was an “impressive” American software in conjunction with a Canadian AV integration company called Campus Tech AV. The two now have formed a partnership agreement to continue delivering accessible and affordable scorekeeping and sports production software on video boards throughout Canada. Schools will now have the opportunity to create an exciting fan experience and control their scoreboard simply from a mobile device.
Additionally, schools can acquire sponsors and raise funds using advertising features to help support their academic and athletic programs. “What put it over the top was the ability to advertise on the score clock. We realized that would be a revenue generator moving forward for our school, and we have managed to raise over $75,000 within the first few months of installing the score clock,” stated Vliet.
Campus Tech AV installed the twelve-foot by seven-foot LED media wall in November of 2022 - making it the first ScoreVision system in Canada. Since the installation, Campus Tech AV has become a certified partner and reseller of ScoreVision products. Schools looking to upgrade their scoreboard to a video board will now have the option to purchase ScoreVision software through the Canadian provider.
