Powerful New Multi-Game Technology Expands the Use of Sports Facilities

Written by Ashley Peterson | October 30, 2025 at 5:00 AM

Sports facilities today serve a wider range of athletes and organizations than ever before. From varsity matchups to youth leagues, club tournaments, and recreational programs, gyms and fields are expected to handle busy schedules and competing demands for available court and field time. That means maximizing space has never been more important.

That’s where ScoreVision's new multi-game feature comes in—making it simple for facilities to get more out of their displays, their schedule, and their investment.

What Is the Multi-Game Feature?

While ScoreVision has always been able to offer users the option to run multiple games, it has required additional hardware to be purchased. This new multi-game feature (available exclusively with Advanced Scoring and Production) allows facilities to run multiple games simultaneously using a single server. A display can show one game, while another display supports a completely separate game—all powered by the same system. Advanced users with the help of ScoreVision's support and customer success are also able to configure multiple games simultaneously running on a single display.

This can be especially useful for running multiple scrimmages during practice. Instead of needing separate systems, spaces can run on the same server, giving facilities greater flexibility.

How It Works

Multi-game is powered by display sets—groups of displays assigned to specific courts or spaces.

  • In the Producer App, display sets can quickly be created, making it easy to toggle between different configurations.

  • In the Scorekeeper App, staff, volunteers, or visiting organizations simply select the labeled display set when prompted. The scoreboard is ready to go—no technical expertise required.

  • Configurations can be updated anytime, allowing facilities to switch from single-game to multi-game setups in minutes.

The process is simple, but the flexibility is powerful—exactly what today’s multi-use venues need.

Use During Practice

If you want to run a scrimmages, drills, or conditioning sets on opposite sides of the court, you can now use multi-game to show a segmented activity timer while continuing with full game functionality

This setup transforms a single display or multi-display environment into a flexible training tool, helping teams make the most of every minute in the gym.

Why It Matters for Facility Use

Opening up your gym or field house to multiple organizations is a win-win: facilities generate more revenue, and community groups gain access to modern-day facilities. ScoreVision’s multi-game feature makes games both easy to manage and impressive to experience.

  • Maximize Court Space: Host more than one game at once, perfect for tournaments or club and youth sports leagues.

  • Streamline Operations: No extra hardware required—just access to the ScoreVision apps.

  • Enhance Experiences: Every game gets a dynamic scoreboard and graphics, delivering a professional fan experience to athletes and fans.

Why Consider Multi-Game?

Whether you manage a gym, field house, or community recreation center, the multi-game feature helps you:

  • Support community demand without extra staff or equipment.

  • Increase the number of games your facility can host each week.

  • Strengthen partnerships with local organizations that rely on modern-day venues.
